1 January 2009...

... is the day i will begin again on a daily base and totally overhaul this blog.

Until then, i wish you all very happy Seasons Greetings and a wonderfull New Year, may all your (miniature) dreams come true!

Here you see my small Tonka collection put together.
There are 25 American Tonka's, 2 Japanse (the Datsuns), and 2 modern ones brandnew.
Furthermore 2 Buddy L. items, a Vulli ambulance, a China made Tonka imitation and a 50's tin truck from Japan (most likely Bandai).

Tonkamania: the pictures.

Well, here are some of them at least: i've been so busy with clearing te attic, so i soon have a space for studio images and a place to store all my miniatures, i must have more than 4.000 by now. Wow! :-)















I have experimented with an 8 Watt Tl-tube for lighting, but it was the wrong color white, so now i have another tube with the right light which you'll see in the next pictures. Better lighting does a lot!

I now own more than 30+ Tonka's, and some Buddy L. from Japan aswel; even a Made In China cheap imitation, which looks funny. More follows.

Tonkamania!

Incredible! I've stumbled over a lot of Tonka's, from Amarica and the newer ones from Japan.
I'll put up pics in a short while, there's a lot to photograph. :-)

Coming Up....

1, 2, 3 more lots are coming in!
Yes, i know, i am running way behind right nog, bút: the first 3 lots are all photographed right now.
I am currently putting everything in the database (a lot of work!) and that is going according to plan.

I can in a few days put up 50 miniatures with description every day for the next 2 weeks now and stíll will be behind, LOL :-)

However, my little girl has her birthday this week and for that i'm taking time off, so be here at Halloween, on friday october 31, for the next load of new incoming miniatures!
Also, 2 projects are in progress, so i can show you some nice pictures in november on those.

A Brief Pause.

A brief pause in posting new items.
I currently have 4 more lots in which i need to photograph all.
Ánd i am working on a handy system for all who are into collecting older and used miniature cars.
More on that follows soon, but for today i'm off, making more pictures. :-)
